Andrew J. Billman, Co-Founder
- As Founder, Andy focuses on future growth opportunities and helps to perpetuate the company’s culture.
- Prior to starting Arise with his partner, Andy was with Tri-W Group as a Managing Director from December 2016 to January 2022. Tri-W Group is a private family investment firm based in Columbus, Ohio and continues to be an important partner alongside the Arise group.
- Before joining Tri-W, Andy spent twenty years with Worthington Industries, a publicly held company based in Columbus, Ohio. While at Worthington, Andy had several leadership roles, including Sales Management, Vice President of Purchasing and eventually became the President of Worthington Cylinders, a $1.1 Billion global leader of pressure vessel and related products with 21 manufacturing locations in six countries with over 3,400 employees.
- In addition to his various roles with Worthington, Andy was also a minority owner for six years with a private manufacturing company based in Michigan.
- Andy earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in business and was team captain and three-year letterman in football.
- He and his wife have four children and two grandchildren and reside in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Zac Guisinger, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
- Zac’s background includes sales, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain experience.
- Experienced in highly engineered metal products as well as metals fabrication across multiple continents including Europe, South America, North America and Asia.
- Zac worked for Worthington Industries and had 30 years of increasing responsibilities from managing five different operating facilities, multiple corporate support roles as well as running one of the publicly reported operating segments with approximately 900 employees and revenues approaching $200 million. Zac was the General Manager and Vice President of Worthington Industries, Engineered Cabs. The Engineered Cabs business supplied fully engineered and designed operator stations to the off-highway market.
- Zac joined Tri-W Group in June 2021 as Managing Director with operational responsibilities at FabriFast LLC. located in Hartford, Wisconsin and R&M Manufacturing in Buffalo, Minnesota.
- Zac studied mechanical and industrial engineering at Purdue and Youngstown State Universities and currently serves as lead Board Member and special advisor at the NorthStar Golf Club. He and his wife have two children and reside in Columbus, Ohio.
Shaun Pressly, Chief Operating Officer
- Shaun brings 20+ years of manufacturing leadership specializing in strategy, operations, sales and product development/innovation.
- During his first 15 years, Shaun worked for Worthington Industries in various leadership roles spanning sales, operations and product development. He has extensive experience leading the integration and growth of multiple acquisitions.
- Prior to joining Arise, Shaun was Vice President & General Manager for Greif, Inc. – a global industrial packaging leader. During his 5 years with Greif, Shaun led the North America steel drum business unit: a $600M business with 13 sites across Canada, United States and Mexico.
- Shaun earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and has received executive leadership training from the University of Tennessee, Walt Disney Institute & United States Military Academy (West Point).
- He and his wife have three children and reside in Columbus, OH
Doug Wisel, Chief Financial Officer
- Doug brings 30+ years of financial management and leadership experience, primarily in manufacturing organizations.
- After beginning his career as an auditor with KPMG for two years, Doug worked for Worthington Industries for 29 years, starting as a plant controller and then progressing through regional controller positions in Worthington’s Cylinders and Steel business units.
- Doug then served as VP and CFO of Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE), a joint venture between Worthington and Armstrong World Industries, for 15 years. He oversaw all aspects of accounting and finance for a company with $450 million revenue and 450 employees across six U.S. manufacturing locations. Prior to the divestiture of the international business in 2018, WAVE also had five manufacturing locations in Asia and Europe.
- Doug earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University. He and his wife have two children and reside in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Billy Stump II, Vice President of Sales
- Billy brings 16+ years of leadership specializing in strategy, commercial, supply chain and procurement.
- He began his career at Worthington Industries where he worked in various business units with roles spanning from sales, supply chain, and purchasing.
- Prior to joining Arise, Billy was Director of National Sales for Screen Machine Industries. – one of the largest industry leading manufacturers of mobile crushing and screening equipment in North America. During his years with Screen Machine, Billy led dealer and business development for multiple product lines across the United States and Canada. He also served on the Portable Plants Editorial Advisory Board and was featured in multiple Pit and Quarry publications.
- Billy earned his bachelor’s degree from Shawnee State University. He was a team captain and four-year letterman in baseball.
- He and his wife have three children and reside in Columbus, Ohio.
Mary Beth Segars, Vice President of Human Resources
- Mary Beth has over 20 years of Human Resources experience, mostly in the industrial and utility sectors.
- She has provided HR support and leadership to companies including Duke Energy, Worthington Industries, Sonoco Products Company and Brooks Pierce, LLP.
- Her primary focus has centered around employee development and engagement, organizational development and employee relations.
- Mary Beth holds a BA in History from Shepherd College.
- Mary Beth and her family currently reside in North Carolina, where they enjoy cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks and a wide array of outdoor activities.
Matt Steele, Vice President & General Manager – R&M and HSS
- Matt brings nearly 40 years of metals manufacturing experience, with expertise spanning stamping, welding, assembly, and paint operations.
- During his 28-year tenure with The Gerstenslager Company, a subsidiary of Worthington Industries, Matt served in progressive leadership roles spanning virtually all facets of the business. He subsequently led manufacturing operations for Engineered Cabs (Greeneville, TN) and Amtrol (West Warwick, RI), driving lean transformation and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Matt’s people-centered leadership philosophy focuses on developing talent, building strong teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through collaborative problem-solving.
- Matt earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering & Management Institute), where he began his career as a co-op student.
- He and his wife live in Rockford, Minnesota. Together they have three children and one grandchild.
Brandon Thompson, Vice President & General Manager – Fabrifast and Olympic
- Brandon brings 15+ years of operations leadership across the automotive, packaging, and industrial manufacturing sectors, with deep expertise in multi-site management and organizational turnaround.
- Brandon built his career foundation at Johnson Controls, managing multi-site operations producing lead-acid battery components for Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers. He reduced turnover from 45% to under 5%, achieved record production volumes, and led international expansion in Shanghai – launching AGM battery assembly lines that increased capacity by 300%.
- Prior to joining Arise, Brandon held senior leadership roles at Diversey, Graham Packaging, and Greif, managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls and delivering measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, and profitability.
- Brandon earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix and dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Marketing from Slippery Rock University. He has served on the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board.
- He and his wife have 3 children 5,4 and newborn and currently reside in Union, KY.
